Hi everyone! It's me (Shannon) and Hudson here to tell you something very exciting...we are OPENING OUR OWN DOG PARK!!

We can not contain our excitement any longer so we are here to tell you a little bit about our plans for it - so here we go!

Firstly - where is the dog park going to be?

The dog park is situated on a piece of land in Happisburgh (close to Cart Gap beach!). Perfect if you are wanting your doggo(s) to burn off some energy before heading to the beach or fields for a walk or to the local dog friendly cafes/pubs. There are no public footpaths running around or through the field itself *Please note livestock may be grazing next to the dog park*

Will the park be fully enclosed?

The park will be surrounded by a secure 6ft high skirted fence.

How can the dog park be accessed?

The field can be accessed by a 6ft high pedestrian gate.  The gate will be locked with a combination lock. When you have booked online, you will be sent an email confirmation with the pin of the combination lock. *please note we will change the pin regularly*.

Will there be a safe place to park?

There will be an established car parking area, as you enter the dog park (you will not be parking on the roadside, or layby). There will be enough space for 2 cars to be parked per booking. You will be asked to turn your car around so you are exiting the car park onto the road in the correct direction (so you don't have to reverse out of the car park onto the road).

How would I go about booking?

We will be setting up a separate website for our dog park for you to use if you would like to book any sessions. We are looking to set up slots for the duration of 25 minutes or 50 minutes slots during the day. Here you can select to book a specific day and time. We ask for a maximum of 2 cars per booking, and a maximum of 6 dogs per booking.

Will there be any lights on the dog park?

We will not be putting in any artificial lighting, so we will be advising that you book within daylight hours.

Is there running water?

We are afraid that currently there is no water access on the park. You will be advised to bring your own water to keep your doggos hydrated whilst they are exercising in our park.

Can I bring my own dog toys?

We want to ensure you make the most out of your time during your visit - so please do! However please ensure that you take these home. We are also going to provide enriching toys for you to use too, so your doggo(s) can be extra tired!

When will the park be open?

We don't currently have a date for the park to open, however keep an eye out on our socials: Shannon's Pet Care!
