About Us
Hello everyone! I'm Shannon, the founder of Shannon's Pet Care and Happisburgh Dog Park. My love for animals has always been a driving force in my life. I launched Shannon's Pet Care, previously known as Shannon's Sitting Services, in 2014, starting by walking my neighbor's dog three times a week. My enthusiasm for dog walking and pet sitting has fueled my passion to provide services tailored specifically to the needs of the pets we care for.
In 2021, I began expanding the Shannon's Pet Care team, enabling us to cover a larger service area, from Mundesley to Thrigby and reaching all the way to Norwich! My dedicated team is committed to ensuring your pets feel safe and comfortable while in our care. We absolutely love meeting new animals and cherish being their second-best friends!
In May 2024, I proudly opened the gates to Happisburgh Dog Park, a fully enclosed field available for customers to book 50-minute private slots. This space allows dogs to run, jump, and play freely off-leash, without the need for recall or concerns about other dogs or people! We are thrilled to be an award-winning business, having secured 3rd place in the 'Dog Walking' category at the 2024 Dog Friendly Awards (which was absolutely paw-some!).

Meet the team of Shannon's Pet Care!
Jackie: Jackie joined our team in April 2023. Jackie offers our dog walking and pop in services to Happisburgh and the surrounding areas on Mondays and Wednesdays.
"Hi everyone I am Jackie - I absolutely love walking in my free time and I have always loved caring for animals! Which means becoming a dog walker has be the perfect role for me. I have had many animals of my own in my from dogs, cats, and rabbits to chickens and donkeys! I work part time here at Shannon's Pet Care on a Wednesday and Monday but help out on additional days too!
Liv: Liv joined our team in October 2025. Liv offers our dog walking and pop in services to Stalham and the surrounding areas, Mondays - Fridays.
"Hi, I’m Liv!
I’ve always been passionate about animals and have shared my life with them since I was two years old — from a rescue dog and rabbits to a flock of five runner ducks! I’ve previously worked in a kennel and volunteered at various rescues and sanctuaries, caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, foxes, and even turkeys. I’ve also had the unique experience of walking alpacas — and enjoying afternoon tea with them afterward! Most recently, I’ve transformed my garden shed into a five-star retreat for my two mini lop bunnies, Fizz and Boo."
Hannah: Hannah joined our team in September 2024. Hannah offers our dog walking and pop in services to Norwich and the surrounding areas on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
"Hey! My name is Hannah and I’ve grown up surrounded by animals at home including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish and I absolutely adore all animals. At college I completed an animal management course to level 3 award. I currently have 2 cats and a dog. I have 2 young children and we all love going for walks with our dog to the woods and beach"
Tiz: Tiz joined our team in June 2025. Tiz offers our dog walking and pop in services to Stalham and the surrounding areas on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
"Hi, I’m Tiz! From creepy crawlies to cuddly collies, I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments — and I love them all. I’m trained to animal welfare officer standard and currently studying for a degree in Animal Management and Conservation, focusing on behaviour and welfare. I’ve worked in kennels, sanctuaries, farms, and even an exotic bug zoo! With experience in health checks, enrichment, behaviour observation, and training, I’m all about giving animals the care they deserve. No horse too big, no bug too small — I’m here for them all, with patience, love, and a pocket full of treats. 🐾"
Jordan: joined our team in April 2025. Jordan offers our dog walking & pop in serivces to Potter Heigham, Stalham, Nrth Walsham and the surrounding areas.
Hi, I’m Jordan! I’ve loved animals all my life and have cared for a wide range—from kittens, puppies, and rabbits to tortoises, ferrets, and horses.Though I’ve held full-time jobs, my heart’s always been with animals. I’ve volunteered with the RSPCA, fostered kittens, and worked as a seal warden with Friends of Horsey Seals, helping rescue and rehabilitate seals at RSPCA East Winch.Right now, I share my life with Odin (a majestic Norwegian Forest Cat), Pixie (my sweet black bunny), Harley (my heart pony), and 19 rehomed tortoises.
Rachael: Rachael joined our team in June 2023. Rachael recently welcomed her little girl into world at the beginning of 2025 however is back! Rachael is currently offering our small pet pop ins to Horning, Ludham, Potter Heigham, Stalham and the surrounding areas.
