Please read our terms and conditions below. Any new customers joining us will be asked to sign a hard copy of the term and conditions during the registration meeting.
Registration:
We ask for our customers to complete a registration form prior to any bookings or meetings taking place. Our registration forms are tailored to the appropriate service to which the customer has requested, and the forms are used to ensure we have all of the appropriate and needed information. The form will be sent to the customer by email, and we asked for the form to be returned to use once it have been completed (forms can be returned to the email provided above). From this point we arrange a meeting to take place between the customer, pets and ourselves where we can discuss the form further, the dates/timings/services that the customer wises to be and of course gives us the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Services are provided either by Shannon, Beth, Jessica, Jackie, Racheal or Megan. Please note meetings are free of charge.
Forms:
We ask that you must complete the form with complete honesty and with as much information as possible. Any updates for the form must be sent to Shannon immediately, as it is important, we have up to date and correct information. You will be asked to complete a new form if you are asking to book in a new service with us – the registration forms are for solo dog walks, buddy dog walks and pop ins.
Terms & Conditions & Consent Forms:
A copy of our terms and conditions and our consent form will be given to you upon our registration meeting. You will be asked to read through these and sign.
Services:
We offer the following services and what we charge (We will not accept to care or walk any dogs who are not microchipped (with their up-to-date details) and / or if the dog does not have their own collar with an identity tag of your details.):
Walks -
Solo puppy walk (£9.00) - this is for a 20–30-minute walk for those pups just starting out in their walking life! Please note time and prices can be altered in order to tailor for your small 4-legged friend. An additional £2.00 per dog within the same household.
45 Minute Dog Walk (£11.50) - Great for pups who are building up their walks or for those who may not be able to quite manage a full hour of walking. An additional £2.50 per dog within the same household
60 Minute Solo dog walk (£13.50) - perfect for dogs who may prefer to walk alone without other dogs. This is the price for one dog. Any additional dogs to be walked will be an extra £2.50 per dog (must be within the same household).
‘Buddy’ Walks (£12.00) - Duration of 60 minutes. An additional £2.00 per dog within the same household. A buddy walk is a walk with other dog(s) from another household. If you are aware of any buddies to join your own dogs for their 60-minute solo dog walk, then please do contact us to the buddy walk set up with the discount price (they must be within a 3-mile radius)
Pop Ins –
Small Pet Pop In (£8.00) - Within this pop in we check on your small pet’s food and water (and topping up if required) and will give them plenty of fuss and cuddles! It is an additional £0.50 per type of small pet. The duration of this service is anywhere between 20-30 minutes.
Dog Pop In (£9.00) - This service includes checking on your dog's food and water (and topping up if required), letting them out to go to the toilet, giving them some fuss and play time of course! Please note that this price is for 1 dog, for any extra dogs it is an additional £2.00 per dog within the household.
45 Minute Pop In (£11.50) - This service includes checking on your dog's food and water (and topping up if required), letting them out to go to the toilet, giving them some fuss and play time of course! Please note that this price is for 1 dog, for any extra dogs it is an additional £2.50 per dog within the household.
Puppy pop in (£13.50) - This service includes a short walk (20-30 minutes), plus a 30-minute dog pop in (total duration of 1 hour). Please note that this is the price for 1 puppy, it is an additional £2.50 per dog within the same household.
(90 Minute Pop In) Dog pop in + dog walk (£20.00) - This service is a dog pop in plus a 1 hour walk. Please note that this price if for 1 dog, it is an additional £2.50 per dog within the household.
Pop ins and Dog Walking -
The duration, days and times of your booked pop ins and walks will be arranged prior to any actual bookings taking place. As a team we always try to arrive at the specific time arranged however please do allow up to 15 minutes before and after the allotted times – it is not always in our control if we are running late. If we are running more than 15-30 minutes of the arranged time, we will then make contact with yourselves, or if uncontactable your emergency contact.
Please note if your dog shows any signs of aggression or dangerous behaviours towards their walker, or to any other dogs or people on their walks then the walk will be immediately terminated. The walk will then be accessed on whether any future walks will take place with us.
Cameras/Puppy Cams:
We ask that you make us aware of any camera or puppy cams that are within your home our outside of your home – even if these will not be on during our visits or when offering any of our services.
Access to Property:
All our member of the team here at Shannon’s Pet Care have undertaken a standard DBS check. You must ensure that our team have the appropriate details of how to access the premises, who might be present during pick up and drop off and to securely leave your property.
Payment:
We send our invoices to the email provided by customers on the last Friday of every month. We ask for the invoice to be paid within 7 days of the invoice being sent. Invoices will contain details of what service has been provided, date/duration of service, breakdown of charge along with details on how payment should be made.
Vets -
If a pet become unwell or suffers an injury whilst they are within our care, we will contact owners (unless unreachable to which we will then contact the emergency contacts provided). We will not take any pets to the vets unless it deemed as an ‘emergency’ (e.g., excessive bleeding, seizures/fits) and will therefore ask for customers to arrange transportation themselves.
For our house and pet sitting service we will take them to the vets that they are registered with. We will them keep owners or the emergency contact informed. Any charges will be the responsibility of the pet owners and your vet will invoice you directly. If you are using our pet sitting service, we ask you MUST notify your vets on the dates you will be away and who is caring for your pets for the duration.
The team of Shannon’s Pet Care are not liable for any accidental damages or injuries caused whilst your pet is in our care. You will be responsible for any medical expenses and damages results for an injury to persons or animals by your pet.
Cancellations -
For our dog walking and pop in services - If cancellation is to happen during 24 hours of your booking you will be charged the full rate of the walk or pop in. However please note from the 1st November 2023 until 1st January 2024 we will be implementing a 48-hour cancellation policy. Meaning if you are to cancel or make changes to your pets walks or pop ins within 48 hours of the start time of the service you will be charged the full rate of your rate.
Administration -
All administration will be dealt directly by Shannon Lennox. Shannon should be contacted for any bookings and cancelations of our services or is there are to be any changes for the planned services booked. We ask that any cause of dissatisfaction is to be bought to our attention as soon as possible. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact Shannon directly on the details on the top of the page.
Liability –
We do not accept responsibility for security of your premises, or loss, during the term of this agreement, during all services our team will only undertake pet care, unless prearranged with you.
If you have given permission for your dog to be walked off lead you will not hold us liable for damage, loss of injury if you dog runs away.
We are not responsible for damage caused by a pet escaping because of a fault lead, collar or harness, or equipment that is not properly fitted.
We cannot be held responsible for any loss of pets if they have access to an open cat flap/window/door within their own home
We shall not be held responsible for any damage to your property, or that of others, cause by your pets during the period which they are in our care.
You understand that there is always a risk to injury to a pet, especially when other animals are present. You agree not to hold Shannon’s Pet Care and their team liable for any illness, injury or incident whilst in our care.
You understand that there is always a risk of illness, injury or incident to a pet when left at home. You agree not to hold Shannon’s Pet Care or our team liable for any illness, injury or incident between our visits.
We shall not be held responsible for injury or illness to your pet if you fail to remove hazards or dangers from your home.
